Astronomy

What will I be doing in this course?

In Astronomy you will study space, the universe, and the varied parts of the universe.  The science of Astronomy is concerned with the bodies of our own solar system, as well as the stars and galaxies.  Along the journey, you will also study about space exploration and technology.  You will be expected to:

    •    Discover new ideas and relationships; improve your research skills; model parts of the solar system; participate in discussions; attend to presentations;
read and write about science; extend your lab skills;
and use technology.

    •    Assess your progress via independent assessments, quizzes, and comprehensive unit tests.
