What is Physics?
What will I be doing in this course?
In Physics you will study how and why objects move through space and time, the concept of energy, and the fundamental forces of gravity and electromagnetism. The science of Physics is concerned with how the universe works. You will be expected to:
• Discover new ideas and relationships; develop lab skills; analyze data; participate in discussions; attend to presentations; propose explanations using evidence; read and write about science; extend your computational skills; use technology; and enhance your talent for solving problems.
• Assess your progress via independent assessments, quizzes, comprehensive unit tests,
and lab reports.
